Total Voting Rights

 

 

Legal & General Group Plc ("Group") announces, in compliance with its obligations under Rules 5.6.1R and 5.6.2G of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, that:

 

As at 30 April 2010:

 

·     Group's capital consisted of 5,863,304,804 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each, with voting rights.

 

·     Group does not hold any shares in Treasury.

 

·     The total number of voting rights in Group is 5,863,304,804.

 

The above figure of 5,863,304,804 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of their interest in, Group under the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
